Video Conferencing
Video Conferencing:
Using a computer, video camera, and network such as the Internet, to conduct a live conference between two or more people. Video conferencing is an extremely useful method of communication because it saves people the time and expense of travel and can often accomplish many of the things a physical meeting can. A two-person videoconference is known as point-to-point, while more than two people involved in a session is a multipoint conference.

Softphone
Softphone-ng means Softphone Next Generation.
Compared to the original WengoPhone it is still developed in C++, but the architecture is totally different and has been developed from scratch. A prototype of this new architecture has been tested and developed in C# (softphone-csharp? on the subversion repository).
Softphone-ng uses PAC so that the graphical part of the application is totally separated from the model: the GUI could be in Qt, GTK+, MFC or even in text mode.
Additionaly, the SIP? stack (e.g PhApi in the current WengoPhone) is also totally separated. One can imagine using sipX or IAX2 even in parallel.
