Jackpot
Jackpot is a ready-to-run SMTP relay honeypot, written in Java.
Jackpot masquerades as a mis-configured ("open") SMTP mail relay. It accepts mail for onward delivery to domains for which it is not responsible, but it doesn't actually forward it. Instead it captures and stores the mail that has been submitted to it, and makes it available as HTML pages for later analysis. This can be used to enable you to submit accurately-aimed reports, with detailed documentation accessible via a built-in web-server.
Jackpot records full details of the SMTP envelope for each spam that is submitted. This is not generally possible using an ordinary spam-trap email address. The details of spam-runs are saved in comma-delimited files, which you can analyse using simple tools.
