OpenBlueLab ERP/PGI & CRM/GRC Open source
OpenBlueLab aims at providing a complete ERP & CRM full web portal, Open Source, based on UML models, without writing any line of code. Generated through the MDA approach, a Cocoon Reference Implementation is currently available. Others implementations like JSF, Php, Ajax, .Net will be developped according wishes expressed on the Forum.
OpenBlueLab is innovative because of the following key points :
At the strategic level, OpenBlueLab wants to be different of other OSS projects.
- with a professional user interface
- with a marketing that looks like a proprietary one during professional meeting
- with ads to build an image corresponding to the project's ambition
At the technological level, OpenBlueLab is radically different of the proprietary editors that are still using old technologies with old constraints (just think about names of database tables in SAP - 4 chars in german - not really easy to adapt). OpenBlueLab provides a full web ERP, portal based, with agregation and personalization made through Ajax technology.
At the feature level, OpenBlueLab wants to be different by providing tools to generate an application with ZeroCode. Everything can be modeled and designed by business specialists. To achieve this goal, extensive use of UML is done. Technology is adapted to business, not the reverse !
