OpenKM document management system
OpenKM is a electronic document management system (DMS)
based on java technologies ( Jackrabbit, Lucene, GWT- Google Web Toolkit ) useful for any enterprises intented to organize and share documents
General functionalities :
* Knowledge management / Document management. Management and storage of documents and contents that are generated within the companies.
* Text document indexing, Office, OpenOffice, pdf, Databases, etc. The search engine indexes the before-mentioned document types; in order them to be able to make concrete searches on the contents kept in the system later on.
* GroupWare. Working tool shared between all the users. Several users can work at the same time with the company resources.
* Remote access to the client (Web client). The OpenKM allows accessing the companiesâ?? resources as an extranet.
* Optional operation in ASP mode of remote management and collective use (it allows to manage several companies or workspaces simultaneously).
