Audio, Video processing
Audio signal processing, sometimes referred to as audio processing, is the processing of a representation of auditory signals, or sound. The representation can be digital or analog. An analog representation is usually electrical; a voltage level represents the air pressure waveform of the sound. Similarly, a digital representation expresses the pressure wave-form as a sequence of symbols, usually binary numbers.

Dali
Dali is a high performance library of routines for manipulating video, audio, and image data.
The Dali language is a low level, high performance language with abstractions and operators to store and manipulate audio, video, and images.
Dali consists of a set of simple, interoperable, high-performance primitives and abstractions that can be composed to create higher level operations and data types. Dali lies between the high-level APIs provided by common libraries and low-level C code. It exposes some low level operations and data structures but provides a higher level of abstraction than C.
