Audio, Video Streaming
Streaming:
Playing video or sound in real time as it is downloaded over the Internet. Data is decompressed and played (by use of a web browser plug-in) as it is transferred to your computer over the World Wide Web. Streaming requires a powerful computer and fast connection since the file is not stored on your computer.

Trevbus
Trevbus will enable content streamers and others to pool their unused bandwidth so content streams can be sent to a large audience.
Most of the time, the outgoing bandwidth of a household broadband connection is unused. Trevbus uses the spare bandwidth of each connection to repeat the content streams. Each participant's computer acts like a TV or radio repeater tower.
Crucially, participants will need to invite more participants to join Trevbus in order to increase the virtual bandwidth of the system. Each of these new participants then has access to the pool of virtual bandwidth. They can become content streamers themselves. A virtuous circle of growth would be created, in contrast to existing closed and often cliquey media organisations
Trevbus gives aspiring content streamers a platform on which to get their message out.
